We are in need of volunteers who are up -beat and positive to come volunteer with us for a fundraising opportunity at CenturyLink Field in downtown Seattle -home of the Seahawks and Sounders. We will be volunteering at a concession stand were will be helping the stadium sell pizza ,hot dogs and refreshments at Sounders /Seahawks games.This is a fun opportunity and a chance to catch glimpses of the games and some of your favorite players.But,the best parts is volunteers will be taking part in assisting us with obtaining our own center which will be a either a drop in day center or emergency night shelter for individuals and families who are needy and in crisis.We plan to open the center in 2017 and are working out the details.This is an excellent opportunity to get us the funding we need to service and build a welcoming center for marginalized populations.Volunteers are required to wear a uniform which would be provided and sisters in doing light duties around the concession stand.A food handlers permit is a plus ,also a great attitude and excellent customer service is a requirement.These volunteer opportunities will be open any time there is a game that is being played by the Sounders or Seahawks for the remainder of the year and that is until October 2015.there are approximately 20 games mostly on weekends Saturdays, Sundays and Fridays.The date of the first game is March 8,2015 @ 5:45,groups welcome ,must be over 18 to volunteer,seniors welcome, Handicapped welcome,light orientation required .

Mission Statement
To provide people experiencing difficult situations with our no cost therapeutic and self esteem salon and spa services who may not otherwise have the means to utilize these quality services. Those include clients that utilize homless and domestic violence shelters , drop in day centers, convelescent homes and children reffered to us by family support workers.We wish to prevent bullying and help people who dont feel good about themselves feel good inside and out so they can perform at thier highest capacity and thrive.
Description
Hearts for Humanity Social Services is a non-profit organization that is 100% volunteer run and operates 100% from donations. Our volunteers know what it feels like to feel down and out due to experiencing tough life situations. We outreach to local homeless/domestic violence shelters, convalescent homes and schools. Our Therapeutic Self- esteem Salon Package provides companionship along with services like : aroma therapeutic foot and leg massage with mini pedicure, hand massage with mini manicure . Both of which consist of a warm soak and either a sugar or salt scrub followed by a deep moisturizing massage and decoration of the nails. We also provide professional haircuts, flat irons and curls. We provide extension and braiding hair for artistic braided styles. residents are shown how to apply makeup, arch eyebrows and provide eyelash extensions. (This is helpful for those who are battling or surviving cancer treatments and may have lost facial hair). Incorporated in the beauty regimen, positive and uplifting conversation is implemented. We compliment and motivate each client as we are getting to know them. Also, we provide resources and small gift bags for adults and children. we believe that when you look good -you feel good and can function at your highest capacity. We love what we do and we do it from our hearts! We hope to expand our services in the near future to include landlord liaison services and a emergency day center.
