Volunteers needed for Pan Americana Festival SXSW

Sign up now to volunteer at the 2015 Pan Americana Festival, the festival that Rolling Stone named the SXSW event with the "Best Atmosphere" in 2014. For this family friendly latino arts and music festival, we are looking to fill about 30 volunteer slots each day and ask that all volunteers work a minimum of 4 hours. There are three shifts each day, 12-4, 4-8, and 8-midnight. According to City regulations, volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers will receive a t-shirt, and access to the VIP area for food and beverages. Volunteer Schedule: Friday, March 20th 12:00 - 4:00pm - Set up (moving tables & chairs, hanging banners, putting up signage) 4:00 - 8:00 and 8:00 to Midnight - Surveys (soliciting adults to fill out our event survey) - Security Backstage Entrance (restricted to all access badges only) - Security Elevator & Staircase (restricted to VIP & all access only) - Security Exits 1, 2 & 3 (make sure no one comes in) - Security Front Entrance (check backpacks for contraban, distribute play list) - VIP Room (clean up, monitor ice & buffet table, empty trash cans) - Clean Up Detail (pick up trash in plaza, empty trash cans and recycle bins) Saturday, March 21st 3:00 - 11:00 - Surveys (soliciting adults to fill out our event survey) - Security Backstage Entrance (restricted to all access badges only) - Security Elevator & Staircase (restricted to VIP & all access only) - Security Exits 1, 2 & 3 (make sure no one comes in) - Security Front Entrance (check backpacks for contraban, distribute play list) - VIP Room (clean up, monitor ice & buffet table, empty trash cans) - Clean Up Detail (pick up trash in plaza, empty trash cans and recycle bins) 11:00 - Midnight - Take down (put away tables & chairs, remove banners and signage)
