Be a Cookie Boss!
Cookie Rookies are Girl Scouts, but are not affiliated with a troop. Girls participate in a series of program sessions, led by Girl Scout staff, that teach girls about leadership, teamwork and goal-setting. Girls participate in the program, and also get the opportunity to be their own Cookie Boss and sell cookies!
Any girl who would like to learn more about Girl Scouts and sell cookies can participate! Once the series is over, you can choose the Girl Scout pathway that works for you!
Join us for a parents meeting:
Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015 from 5:30-7pm at Elmora Racquet Club, 23 Fernwood Terrace, Elizabeth, NJ 07208
The first session for girls will be on Thursday, February 19th, 2015 from 4-5:30pm
For more information, please contact Amanda Cusumano at acusumano@gshnj.org or 908-518-4420

Mission Statement
Girl Scouts builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.
Description
Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey (GSHNJ) believes in the power of every girl. Our leadership program is designed to help a girl discover who she is, what she can do, and connects her with a powerful community of girls and mentors to make it happen. With unique opportunities, Girl Scouts explore, learn, succeed and take action to make a difference in their community.
Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey serves 18,000 girls and 8,000 adults throughout Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Somerset, Union, southern Warren, and parts of Middlesex counties. Girl Scouting is open to all girls ages 5-17 regardless of race, creed, nationality or socio-economic status.
At Girl Scouts, we strive to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Being a Girl Scout volunteer is a very rewarding experience. You get to help provide unforgettable and life-changing experiences to girls while teaching them a variety of life skills that will help them be successful in the future. You’re a role model, leader, friend, mentor, and teacher all in one. We couldn’t do any of that if it wasn’t for our hard-working volunteers. That means YOU!
