On FRIDAY, February 6th, 2015, the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation will outfit 400 disadvantaged CCSD school children with new shoes, socks and backpacks! Volunteers are needed to assist the children in selecting the shoes of their choice from our shoe-store-on-wheels, and assist with general distribution activities. Please note that this event is not open to the public. Participating children have been pre-screened, pre-qualified (low-income) and invited to participate in the scheduled shoe distribution program. This is an ACTIVE, OUTDOOR event which will NOT be cancelled in the event of inclement weather including extreme wind or rain! Please dress appropriately for both the weather and the activity! And PLEASE no open-toed shoes! Space is Limited. Volunteers must pre-register and provide detailed volunteer information.
