What is TapeScape?

Custom-designed by artist and Mankato resident Eric Lennartson, TapeScape is an interactive indoor landscape made entirely out of 3M plastic wrap and 313 packing tape stretched over a metal frame. Strong enough to handle thousands of energetic visitors every week, the smooth and springy surfaces will curve and twist with their movements. Exploring this unusual and unpredictable environment is sure to spark creative learning in visitors of all ages.

Interpreters are needed to help monitor and provide tape activities with our visitors.

Shifts are Tuesday-Sunday 9;30-1, 1-5 or 5-9pm
