Give Together is looking for individuals who enjoy working with children/families and who have a passion for community service. The Give Together Project Lead performs a key role in our organization by supervising and directing our volunteer activities. Job Responsibilities Direct each task during the activity Perform pre- and post- activity tasks that may include manual labor Educate the volunteer families about the work they are doing and who they are helping Effectively communicate with a diverse audience Maintain a positive working relationship with our partner nonprofits Professionally represent Give Together and its branded family volunteering experience Requirements Minimum commitment of one activity per month (an average activity runs 2 hours including set-up and clean-up) Availability to work weekday mornings, afternoons and/or on weekends Ability to stand for sustained periods of time Ability to lift activity materials up to 50 lbs

Description
Give Together creates volunteer opportunities for families with children two to 12 years old. We partner with nonprofits to host age-appropriate activities that are fun for our children. We also provide parents with educational resources and tools to discuss giving back. Our purpose is to build a stronger community by teaching gratitude, compassion and kindness through family volunteer events and activities.
