The Frederick Film Festival is looking for an excited volunteer or two who would like to take photographs during our events. Primarily this would be at the Weinberg Center for the Arts during the festival weekend (June 23-26).
However, the festival does have 2 venues as well as a number of pre-festival events such as smaller showings and live music events, so there are opportunities and needs outside that weekend and that venue.
The photographer would get free access to these events.

Mission Statement
Our organization's mission is to provide access and exposure to the art of film and film appreciation to the Frederick community through exhibition of films and other film-related educational activities. Also, to stimulate the recognition of the artistic merit of film and to foster an appreciation of different cultures, cultural artistic styles, and history through the viewing and discussion of international and documentary films.
Description
We are a film organization focused on highlighting the cultural and artistic value of international films. We hold 2 festivals per year. The flagship festival, the Frederick Film Festival, in an international multi-day festival featuring films, music, and special guests.
The second festival is the Maryland International Kids FilmFest, a single day event that highlights about 50 international short films and one feature film. This festival also features free animation workshops taught by a professional animator
