Did you know that the average family only spends 49 minutes together? We know that families thrive best when they feel connected and you have the power to make that happen! Volunteer Family Mentors are matched with families in Orange County for a 3 month period of time in which the mentors empower the families and provide a safe place to exchange information, problem solve, and develop an impactful relationship on a weekly basis. Mentors also assist families in seeking resources through empowerment and motivation and encourage a positive approach in their situations. Boys Town Family Matching is a wonderful opportunity for families to begin developing a strong social support network through a healthy peer relationships. The time commitment is scheduled individually with the family and averages 2-6 hours a month --> Such a small amount of time for such a large impact. (Matches can be phone based or meet in the public)
