New Mexico is one of the hungriest states in the nation. You can make a difference today by volunteering with our SNAP Outreach program. Over 80,000 income eligible New Mexicans are not enrolled in SNAP, the new name for Food Stamps. Myths, confusing applications and other geographic barriers prevent these hungry New Mexicans from receiving the food assistance they deserve. The goal of the phone line is to provide an opportunity for low-income New Mexicans to call in and receive information and application assistance over the phone. Roadrunner Food Bank provides training, flexible scheduling, and continued support to ensure your success. We are looking for bilingual volunteers with good phone skills.
