Join us for the 2015 Raleigh Tamale Festival at Pullen Park! Come and enjoy a celebration of Latino culture with games, tamale cooking contest, community resources, music and more! Bilingual English/Spanish helpful but not necessary. Volunteers will assist with registration, parking, set-up/break-down, competition, activities, promotion, entertainment, etc. To volunteer, you must be at least 15 years old and complete the volunteer release form. Volunteers under the age of 18 will need a parent/guardian to sign form. Lunch will not be provided; you may bring a bag lunch or money to buy lunch at one of the food trucks. All volunteers must pre-register online in order to volunteer. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Per department policies, this volunteer opportunity is not to be used towards court-appoint community service hours. YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER ONLINE USING THE RALEIGH PARKS RECREATION AND CULTURAL RESOURCES ONLINE VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION SYSTEM!
