We’re going to work hard and then play hard too. First we will help make a positive impact on the coastal mangrove habitats by removing marine debris around the Point and the coastal trail. Emerson’s location at the mouth of the Manatee River and the southern part of Tampa Bay means a lot of trash washes up and we need your help to collect it! After the trash bash, grab a dip net and join our naturalists to get a peek at the world beneath the waves. You’ll get to see firsthand the critters your cleaning will help! Please wear close toed shoes that can be worn in the water and bring gloves. Program is suitable for all ages. Please let us know if you would like to attend by calling 941-748-4501 ext. 6035 to register.
