Become a friendly visitor: chat, listen, sing, read, hold someone's hand... and bring a SMILE to a hospice patient's face. Sometime the simplest things can make a big difference in someone's life.
Heartland Hospice is seeking compassionate, reliable volunteers to make a difference in someone’s life! You can help in various ways.
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Friendly visits with patients; reading, play games, comfort
- Be a supportive presence for a bereaved family
- Become a Vigil Volunteer
- Pet Therapy
We are flexible, based on your schedule and availability. As a volunteer for Heartland, you will be part of an outstanding team that is committed to providing patients with the best care possible.
