The Superbowl does not start until 7pm, so come out and spend a few hours helping us clean one of the nicest bayfront scenic roads in Tampa Bay.
Much of the debris that makes its way in the waters along Bayshore Boulevard during Gasparilla season comes directly from Gasparilla activities, such as the parades.
Day After Gasparilla cleanup conducts a cleanup along Bayshore Boulevard and the associated side streets the day after the Gasparilla Adult Parade of Pirates.
Volunteers clean the areas and side streets throughout Bayshore Blvd which were used as both the float staging area and parade route, focusing on both trash and recyclable items.
Cleanup supplies and cleanup location assignments will be provided at the sign-up tent.
Lunch will be provided by the North America Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA)

Mission Statement
Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful mission is to provide environmental education and volunteer opportunities that develop individual responsibility and environmental stewardship.
Description
Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful is a not-for-profit organization that engages citizens and communities through environmental service and education. An affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, we began as a group of concerned residents who saw that litter was becoming a problem in their community through lack of community pride, limited knowledge of disposal options and urban growth. To combat these problems, we coordinate the Great American Cleanup in April, the Hillsborough River & Coastal Cleanup in the fall, the Adopt-A-Road and Adopt-A-Shore programs, community cleanups and an annual litter index survey.
