The Girls on the Run office is changing locations and we are in need of volunteers to help us move this Friday. If you are free anytime between 9:00am to 5:00pm this Friday and would like to help, please email stephanie.livesay@girlsontherun.org. We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
Description
Running is our teaching tool, but we are more than just a "running program." An afterschool program for 3rd through 8th grade girls, Girls on the Run not only prepares it participants to complete a 3.1-mile run/walk, it also uses a fun, 12-week curriculum to teach them how to deal with the challenges they face every day: peer pressure, bullying, self-esteem and more.
