Family Support Circle Inc. a nonprofit organization located in West Oak Lane is currently seeking after-school tutors and mentors for middle/high school students. These tutors will serve as role-models to students in an ongoing one-on-one capacity. This role will serve to create a sense of community through development of positive, cooperative relationships with students, staff and other volunteers. We encourage young men and women to take academic risks, to develop their individual talents and creativity.

FSC-Building Better Youth for Excellence designs special curriculums that build on leadership skills, youth development activities, drug, alcohol and violence prevention, technology education, art, music and recreation programs, counseling and character education that enhance the academic component and foster an understanding of the value of service to others. Young men and women are not only expected to experience learning within the program, but also to learn from the rich diversity in their community and the surrounding communities
