No one wakes up one day and decides they will begin a drug addiction. Be it low self-esteem, domestic violence, or feeling of hopelessness - women who decide to change their lives for the better deserve a welcoming hand up.

In our local area, there is now a place for these women to come and begin the process of healing their skin. This program began on a volunteer basis by one skin therapist and the need was greater than imagined.

Assistance for Skin Rehab is needed in all forms - from mailing and delivering brochures to website maintenance and marketing. The more experience you have, the better - but we can certainly train those who have a passion for the work we do.

Mission Statement

Skin Rehab's Mission is to help rebuild the self-esteem of women in the local area who are recovering from drug addiction by providing skin care, education, and products.

Description

Drug abuse results in telltale skin irregularities caused by the destruction of tissues and blood vessels, inhibiting the bodies ability to repair itself.

Acne appears, sores take longer to heal, and skin loses its luster and elasticity from severe dehydration. This leaves a person with a sickly and much older appearance.

Skin Rehab welcomes women who are serious about their continued recovery and want to restore their skin health. We will provide facial skin treatments, focusing on relaxation and ways to maintain the results.

We want every woman to restore their confidence and enable them to pursue a healthy, productive life.
