Casa Libre/Freedom House is looking for several volunteers to assist the shelter director with case management duties as well as helping build caring and consistent relationships with the homeless youth. Casa Libre currently offers an emergency shelter program that centers on the social, educational, medical, and legal needs of typically unaccompanied Immigrant children under the age of 18 who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected. We are looking for volunteers who will gauge the emotional and mental health of the kids in order to assist them in creating a personal program that will aid them in reaching their dreams and goals. Ultimately, we hope that the volunteer will help foster the individual growth and potential of each youth.
