Job Description:
States' 4-H International is seeking a Marketing and Communication Volunteer to assist in staff in: social media, marketing strategies and outreach. Flexible schedule Monday through Friday. 8-12 hours a week.
Responsibilities include:
- Create compelling social media content that will be shared by influencers within the 4-H community
- Revive agency Twitter account and create Instagram account
- Develop promotional items for events
- Propose updates/enhancements to S4-H website
- Collect and review data, metrics, and analytics to determine trends and techniques in social media
- Collaborate with staff on new ideas, directions, and venues for marketing and communications
- Identify S4-H marketing opportunities nationwide
- Office support such as mailings and filing
- Special research projects

Description
States’ 4-H International Exchange Programs (S4-H) is a non-profit organization headquartered in Seattle, WA. We work with 4-H Youth Development Centers of Cooperative Extension in the US and international partners around the world to conduct cultural immersion and exchange programs. Since 1972, our exchanges have impacted nearly 50,000 youth and their families in 24 countries on 6 continents!
S4-H is governed by a Board of Directors composed of 4-H Extension professional from across the US. The 4-H National Headquarters at NIFA has authorized S4-H to use the 4-H name and emblem. S4-H is granted full listing by the Council for Standards on International Educational Travel (CSIET) and is designated by the US Department of State as a sponsor of J-1 Secondary Student exchange programs.
