We need additional volunteers to run the day-to-day operations at the AAYC and to help up with all our community events.
The have an aging building and we need skilled volunteers and labors to help upgrade and remodel our building at 816 S Van buren, Amarillo, TX 79101.
We have mulitple events throughout the year as well and we alway need additional volunteers and help running and sponsoring these events.

Our Mission
The AAYC exists to provide safe, fun, affordable recreational activities for youth and families in an alcohol.drug free wholesome environment.
Our Visiion Statement
To provide ew exciting programs while maintaining our current programs that will foster positive values while concurrently increasing the involvement at the AAYC in our comunity.
We will bring in more youth and increase our volunteer and donor base.
Description
In today’s fast paced environment the activities and happenings of the youth in our area are often overlooked and the children of Amarillo are left to their own devices, with no structure of guidance, no place to go, nothing positive to do. The family structure is corroding and values are not being taught in schools. The family structure is changing and in many cases the streets are where many youth get their ethics, morals and personal code of conduct. This situation has resulted in many youth straying from safety, lacking of morals, and straying to unlawful acts. The AAYC is a solution to helping these youth. We offer a safe, fun morally correct environment to mentor and encourage children of Amarillo.
We need additional volunteers and support staff to help at the AAYC on a regular basis. We are always looking for new coachs, and people willing too volunteer to bring new programs and activities to the AAYC.
