Tour Docents conduct museum tours for drop-in visitors of all ages and for scheduled group tours of all types. Docents present the story of the history of Santa Monica. Tours are given Tuesday, Wednesdays,Thursdays, Friday, Saturdays.

Mission Statement
The Santa Monica History Museum was founded in 1975 under the city of Santa Monica centennial committee to collect and preserve the history, art and culture of the Santa Monica Bay area. Volunteers are needed to serve as docents in the areas of exhibit gallery, museum library, cashier-gift shop and reception desk, etc.
