We love volunteers for our ongoing Saturday morning work sessions from 9am until noon to keep the garden mulched, watered, composted and free of invasive plants. For maintenance, we would love to have: 1. a pond expert to keep up with the pond by skimming the algae, cleaning the pump a few times a week and watering the bog plants. 2. a compost maven that will chop up big pieces, turn and rotate the piles, keep it moist and make sure the ratio of brown to green is just right. 3.a carpenter/woodworker that can help us with construction projects such as bridges, benches, tables, a pergola and storage structures. 4.a micro irrigation manager that can keep up with our 4 zones and the new plants that will need emitters. We are looking for the following additions to that team. We meet once a month. A fundraiser/event coordinator: We would like to have 2 large fundraising events per year A marketing person: Getting the word out about programs, workshops and events and keeping our brand/logo popping up everywhere. Secretary/Correspondence: Taking meeting notes and sharing them with the team. Sending thank you letters to our donors and keeping in communication with our members and contacts. Let us know how you can help. We welcome whatever skills or passions you have!
