Are you looking for a satisfying, life-changing experience? Make a difference in your community by becoming a hospice volunteer! The VNA of Somerset Hills is offering an opportunity for men and women to train as hospice volunteers. Volunteers provide much needed joy, support and assistance to patients and their families dealing with life-limiting illness. The responsibilities of a hospice volunteer can include companionship visits, running errands, respite for caregivers or assisting with projects at the VNA office. People trained in pet therapy and those with a music background interested in providing soothing music are invited to register.
No previous hospice or healthcare experience is necessary. A preliminary interview and pre-registration are required to participate.
