ORGANIZATION: Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter

Join a winning volunteer team!!! The Fairfield County Walk to End Alzheimer's has created a new position-Operations/Event Chair- for our 2015 Walk fundraiser taking place on October 4th at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk. This role will oversee a committee of returning leader volunteers focused on food & beverage, t-shirts, a promise flower garden, registration and entertainment to ensure that the event runs smoothly. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys project management, is organized and likes to work with other committed, passitionate and energetic volunteers. We exceeded our fundraising goal by 50% last year and hope to continue our success this year in order to be able to find a cure for Alzheimer's. Please note: we are happy to structure the role as a co-chair opportunity.
