COMMUNITY & SCHOOL MENTORING
School mentoring is 1 hour once a week during the school year for adults or teens.
Community based mentoring is when adults spend 2-4 hours a month at their own schedule.

Description
BBBS of Palm Beach and Martin Counties provides screening, training, and support for volunteers who work one-to-one with the children in our community. We have three different programs.
The Community Based Program matches volunteers and children of the same sex. The volunteers take out the children to do fun activities that they both enjoy. It could be an afternoon at the museum, morning of fishing, or time at the park.
In our Site Based Program, volunteers go to the children's school to mentor during a free hour. The volunteers help the children with their homework and are just their to be their friends.
In the Career Skills Program, our children learn from business professional volunteers at the place of business.
