Looking for someone who is 55 plus. Work with Founder and Executive Director to identify and develop relationships with real estate developers and investors with the goal of developing partnerships and long-term business ventures that has the goal of selling or renting works of fine art in building lobbies and other public spaces. This Art's organization, launched in 2009, sells the works of over sixty artists who have agreed to donate fifty percent of the proceeds to a Foundation that makes grants to cancer researchers. The Business Development Director will work out of their own home as the organization does not have an office.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required, masters or other graduate degree desired (preferably in business or communications)
• Prior business development experience, preferably in a non-profit setting
• Strong networks with corporations and a proven record of building relationships
• Demonstrated excellent verbal (oral and written) communication and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate volunteers
• Ability to work independently with limited resources
• Strong project management experience
• Proven critical thinking skills
• Passion for art and philanthropy
• Fund raising experience
• Public relations or marketing experience a plus.
