PLACEMENT PURPOSE
The American Red Cross - Iowa Region responds to disasters every day of the year. Help restore hope to your neighbors by joining our disaster service team! Activities include: - Responding to single family fires and disasters - Logistics - Mental Health Services - Public Affairs - Technology - Client Case Work - Sheltering - Health Services - Feeding
OPEN TIME DAYS
Must be responsive to calls during chosen hours.
The American Red Cross needs individuals with a variety of skills, and will provide training on (but not limited to):｠ orientation with Red Cross programs and Disaster Services training. It is also helpful, but not a requirement, if you have a background or training in the following areas: CPR/ FA, Health Services, Client Casework, Feeding, Transportation, Facilities, Supply and Sheltering.
