New logo for org name change!

Encompass Community Services' newest program, Gemma, will have its annual Winter Wonderland Fundraiser on February 27. It will be from 6pm-9pm at Peace United Church on High Street in Santa Cruz. The event will feature appetizers, dinner, dessert, and a bar with both wine and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be a silent and live auction, and a raffle. The prizes offered include gift certificates, artwork, vacation rental stays in Hawaii & Tahoe, and several great gift baskets. The entertainment will include jazz music, a performance by an a Capella group from UCSC, and speeches from the programs’ participants. The volunteer duties are listed below. Many of the jobs are not mutually-exclusive, so the same 2 people can do supply pick-up, set-up, and check-in. In total we need at least 10-12 people. Activity Time/date Number of volunteers Set-up Day of event noon - 2:00 2 people Check-in table - greeters/process payment Day of event lunch arrive at 5:15 2 friendly, well organized people who handle cash Hang up signs/balloons to mark event Day of event 5:30 2 people Supply pick up at various locations Between noon - 5:00 2 people with vehicles Raffle ticket sales Throughout event 6 - 8:45 2 - 3 people HIGH ENERG & handle cash Spotters/recorders for live auction Day of event about 7:30 2 - 3 well organized people (I can get staff to do this if need be) Dessert table service Day of event about 8:00 2 people Bussers/servers/kitchen clean-up Day of event lunch arrive at 5:15, service throughout evening 5 people (great for high-school students for school credit) Bartender Day of event arrive at 5:15, service throughout evening 2 adults over 21 Check out Between 8:30 - 9:15 2 people Break down Between 9:00 - 10:00 4 - 6
