Encompass Community Services' newest program, Gemma, will have its annual Winter Wonderland Fundraiser on February 27. It will be from 6pm-9pm at Peace United Church on High Street in Santa Cruz. The event will feature appetizers, dinner, dessert, and a bar with both wine and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be a silent and live auction, and a raffle. The prizes offered include gift certificates, artwork, vacation rental stays in Hawaii & Tahoe, and several great gift baskets. The entertainment will include jazz music, a performance by an a Capella group from UCSC, and speeches from the programs’ participants. The volunteer duties are listed below. Many of the jobs are not mutually-exclusive, so the same 2 people can do supply pick-up, set-up, and check-in. In total we need at least 10-12 people.
