At Caring Hospice of Central NJ, we want to recognize the sacrifices that many of our patients have in serving their country. In doing so, we have created a VETERANS RECOGNITION PROGRAM. Interested volunteers would present a Certificate of Appreciation to Veterans who are receiving care from Caring Hospice of Central NJ and spend time sharing their experiences in the armed forces. Caring Hospice of Central NJ Veteran Volunteers visit terminally ill veterans; listen to life stories or record or videotape a veteran's reminiscences; telephone veterans to sk how they are doing; attend or help plan activities celebrating Memorial Day and Veteran's Day; educate veteran's groups about hospice services by speaking at their meetings.Caring Hospice of Central NJ Veterans Volunteers do not need to be a US Veterans; you only need the desire to remember; honor and support our American living heroes. These opportunities are available in the following counties: Middlesex, Somerset, Union, Essex, and Mercer.

Description

Experience - Caring Hospice has been providing hospice services since 1997

Individuality - at Caring Hospice, we respect and appreciate the individual beliefs, traditions, and approaches of the families we serve and develop our individualized care plans accordingly.

Customized care - We recognize different levels of pain tolerance, and fashion our care plans accordingly

Partners - Caring Hospice strives to serve each family according to their needs. For some, it means allowing family members to generally supervise the patient with assistance from our caregivers. For others, it means allowing Caring Hospice to assume greater responsibility for the patients needs.

Compassionate Care - Our caregivers are highly qualified both in their medical skills as well as their empathetic and compassionate natures. They are uniquely attuned and sensitive to the needs of their patients and families.

Comprehensive - Caring Hospice offers a comprehensive range of services that addresses the full spectrum of patients and family’s needs.
