Looking to make a real and positive difference in the lives of others? Become a Service Advisor for AARP Foundation’s HelpDesk@50+. The role of the Service Advisor is that of a supportive guide... meeting face-to-face with individuals over the age of 50, accessing the range of issues they face in areas of Hunger, Housing, Income, and Isolation... and connecting them to services that address those needs.

Volunteers do NOT need any experience other than a level of computer skills that allow you to comfortably complete online search, assessment, and application processes. You do need to be comfortable working one-on-one with the individuals we serve while being respectful and maintaining confidentiality.

Full training and support is offered as you learn to use our AARP Foundation HelpDesk@50+ tools. Ongoing guidance and support is provided by our team leaders. We are seeking individuals who can volunteer 4 to 8 hours per week during the days of Monday - Friday.
