The Adaptive Sports and Recreation Association provides sport opportunities for physically disabled youth and adults in San Diego County. As an all volunteer organization that is growing its sports programs and serving more athletes, we are in need of someone to help keep our books, i.e. entering checks, paying bills, tracking restricted funds, running reports, etc.

Description
Core Programs and Activities
Year-Round Adaptive Sports (YRS)
Year Round league sports programs are offered to people of all ages and include wheelchair basketball, tennis, and sitting volleyball.
Originally just one team, the program has quickly grown to include multiple competitive and recreational levels, including:
- Recreational 12 and under (multi sport clinics)
- Wheelchair basketball (youth and Adult)
- Wheelchair Tennis (adult)
Junior Adaptive Sports Camp
Children, ages 4-18, attend a five-day adaptive sports camp. Campers have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of a number of adaptive sports and further develop their skills. Sports include wheelchair basketball, tennis, archery, swimming, rugby, soccer, handcycling, sailing, water tubing, outrigger canoeing, kayaking and more. The camp’s goal is to help establish the building blocks of an active life through the introduction and skill development of adaptive sports.
