Support Early Childhood Education as a Receptionist at the Mitzi Freidheim Center

Provide support to Children's Home + Aid Early Childhood Center clients and staff by serving as a volunteer receptionist. Volunteers are needed to answer telephone calls and greet visitors at the front desk. Location is open from 9-5 on weekdays, and can use help with these tasks (and possibly others) every day! Bring a book or a laptop for slow times, and know you are helping families get the support they need for their child's education just by directing a few phone calls! The Mitzi Freidheim Child + Family Center offers educational services for children and families in the city of Chicago. Family Support Specialists provide support and assist parents in meeting the needs of their children pertaining to education and child development. Families served by the Mitzi Freidheim Child + Family Center have been affected by major changes and challenges in their lives. The Early Childhood program provides educational, health, disability, mental health, nutrition and social services to children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age.
