Do you wish you could help children in need, but your skill set is more administrative than therapeutic? Do you have a knack for organizing, great attention to detail, and a willingness to help in whatever way possible to improve lives? Do you only have a couple days a month to volunteer, but you would really like to make a difference? Children's Home Aid has a great volunteer role for you! Our Licensing team at the Hazel Crest office is looking for a volunteer who can devote 2-4 days a month for 4(ish) hours a day to help with administrative tasks. As a volunteer you would work closely with licensing workers and make sure that our children's home and appropriate by keeping track of the licensing files. The Hazel Crest Office is open 9:00-5:00 Monday - Friday, and is very flexible about days and times that volunteers can come in. Children's Home Aid provides help, hope and opportunity to over 40,000 children and families statewide. Volunteers play an integral part in our ability to reach that number - join our volunteer team and be a part of the effort! In order to work with client files, Volunteer will need to get a Health Screen and Background Check.
