How would you like to watch some of the most creative kids in the Central Virginia area present their solutions to one of seven challenges? We are looking for adults, 18 years and older, to serve as appraisers for our Regional Tournament. We have 83 teams of kids who have been working since September to design, build and present their long term solutions. Knowledge of the challenges is not required, we will train you on this!
If you prefer to see kids thinking on their feet, we have a job for you as well.

Mission Statement
to develop opportunities that inspire the global community of learners to utilize diverse approaches in applying 21st century skills and creativity.
The Destination Imagination program encourages teams of learners to have fun, take risks, focus and frame challenges while incorporating STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), the arts and service learning. Our participants learn patience, flexibility, persistence, ethics, respect for others and their ideas, and the collaborative problem solving process. Teams may showcase their solutions at a tournament.

We are a nonprofit educational prgram for students K - University. We provide opportunites for students to develop critical thinking skills to solve a variety of problems.
