Mentors advise students at Northwood Academy on ways to improve their Science Fair projects before the students compete in the city-wide Science Fair. Unlike many of our students, these students worked independently on their projects for their school based fair. They placed at Northwood's Science Fair and now are preparing to compete against students from all across the Philly region. Come help them to enhance their projects and show off their smarts!

Mission Statement

iPraxis is a nonprofit organization where we encourage students in Philadelphia’s public and charter schools to embrace and pursue STEM learning opportunities. Using inquiry and project-based learning activities like science fairs, in-class presentations, workshops, field trips, and career fairs, students gain insight into how things work in the real world and discover new possibilities for their future.
