Our cats need cuddling! Life is challenging for a cat in a shelter. Taking the time to play with them makes a huge difference in their quality of life, and helps them to stay healthy and in good spirits. Play also helps to socialize our cats, making them easier to adopt.

Mission Statement
The Voorhees Animal Orphanage will provide housing, food, and medical care to stray, abandoned, and surrendered dogs and cats in Camden County for the purpose of finding them safe and permanent new homes.
Description
Voorhees Animal Orphanage is a no-kill shelter and adoption center located in Voorhees, NJ. We maintain animal service contracts with 17 municipalities in Camden County, serving approximately 1200 dogs and cats annually. VAO is also an adoption center, providing permanent homes and foster placements for approximately 1000 dogs and cats annually in the Camden County area.
