IHOP National Pancake Day For years, IHOP has been a generous supporter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). On Tuesday, March 3, guests from around the state are invited to celebrate National Pancake Day at IHOP and enjoy a free stack of pancakes! In exchange for their free stack of pancakes, guests can donate to LLS and support our mission of curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life for patients and their families. Last year, over $6,000 was raised through the support of almost 7 stores in Delaware. With even more stores participating this year, we plan to continue this success and surpass last year’s efforts! This event takes place at the following IHOP stores: Bear, Newark, Wilmington, New Castle, Dover, Seaford and Rehoboth. Volunteers are also needed for this event at all locations to help spread the word about LLS and ask for donations from guests.

The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. We work tirelessly to find cures and ensure patients can access the lifesaving treatments they need. When someone experiences the fear and uncertainty of a blood cancer diagnosis, we provide hope, compassion, education and support. Our impact is felt beyond blood cancer. The breakthrough treatments we helped advance for blood cancers are now improving the lives of people affected by many types of cancer.
Description
Volunteers are our partners in the crusade to end cancer. In 2017, LLS volunteers made a significant impact while selflessly dedicating their time and talent to achieve our mission. With countless ways to engage, from fundraising to providing patient support, our volunteers are changing the landscape of cancer. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Delaware Chapter serves residents who have been touched by one of the blood cancers: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
