We are looking for a volunteer group to come and show some love for our nursing home residents on Valentine's Day (Saturday 2/14/15).
Ideas: bring a group and distribute your handmade Valentines room to room provide entertainment of some sort (singing, dancing, etc.) bring a group of helpers to help us play a special Valentine Bingo game We're open for other ideas!

Please note: All potential volunteers at Greenewood Manor must complete a Volunteer Application, submit to a background check, and attend a Volunteer Orientation prior to their first volunteer assignment. Mission Statement
Greenewood Manor has a long history of providing excellent care to our residents, who currently range in age from 46-106. We provide skilled nursing care and rehab stays for residents with a wide variety of diagnosis and abilities.
Description
Greenewood Manor is a non-profit skilled nursing facility. We offer skilled and intermediate 24 hour nursing care, as well as supportive living and respite care options for individuals seeking assistance on either a short term or long term basis. Greenewood Manor is owned and operated by the Greene County Board of Commissioners.
All potential volunteers must submit a Volunteer Application, a signed waiver form, pass a background check, and complete a Volunteer Orientation Session/ Interview prior to working with our residents. Volunteers under the age of 18 will be required to present a certified copy of their birth certificate at the time of their interview. Groups coming in to provide one-time entertainment may have different requirements- contact Amy Shade for details.
