Animal Life, Inc. is in need of foster homes in Harnett, Wake, Lee, Cumberland and Johnston Counties. We pull cats and dogs from high-kill shelters, restore them to health and find adopters for them; however, we cannot do this without loving foster homes to watch over our animals until a forever family is found. We need foster homes for both cats and dogs at this time. Potential fosters will complete a foster application and may be asked to submit to a home visit prior to approval. Fostering is simple: you agree to feed and care for the cat or dog, update our foster coordinator on their well-being, and to work with foster coordinator or transport coordinator to get the animal to vet appointments and adoption events (your attendance at these events is not required but is certainly welcomed!) Most of our fosters do purchase food, treats, litter, bedding, etc. - however if you choose to do so, you may present your receipts for reimbursement by the organization. What really matters is that you have time, love and patience to dedicate to your foster animal - being from a shelter environment, that is what they need most!

Mission Statement
Animal Life is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue, founded in 2013. Our efforts are entirely dependent upon donations and fundraisers. Our vision is to build Harnett County's first No-kill facility, but until that vision becomes reality, we also depend solely on foster homes to place our rescued animals in until permanent loving homes can be found. Animal Life's belief's and operating procedures are that no adoptable animal should endure euthansia, starvation or be homeless. Animal Life also believes that the overpopulation of domestic animals can only be corrected by Spay/Neuter and is the only way we will adopt an animal out, with the exception of Puppies and Kittens that are to young or small to be altered, and in such cases a deposit is required and transfer of ownership will not occur until that animal is altered.
Description
We are a 501c3 registered non-profit animal rescue, founded in 2013. We pull cats and dogs from high-kill shelters, get them proper medical care and grooming, and place them in safe, loving foster homes until they are adopted. We hold weekly adoption events in Wake, Harnett and Lee Counties and also have an online presence. We rely on volunteers and donations to achieve our goals of saving lives and improving animal welfare in our area.
