BECOME A VOLUNTEER ESL TEACHER!
WHY? Many non-English speaking adults in our community want to learn English and need caring volunteer teachers.
HOW? Our training workshops will prepare you to teach small groups of motivated adult learners of English.
WHO? Adults 18 or older who speak English fluently and can volunteer 3 hours a week.
WHEN? Annually in September.

The mission of the San Gabriel Valley Literacy Council is to provide English and citizenship instruction that meets the evolving needs of adult learners.
Description
We are an all volunteer educatonal group that provides low cost ESL and citizenship classes for adult learners in the greater Pasadena area. We also train those who teach these groups of adult learners.
