Heroes in Action (HIA) seeks a volunteer to serve as our Director of Compliance and Outreach. As a member of the Board of Directors, the Director of Compliance and Outreach will embrace the value of helping police officers, firefighters and military veterans by managing Heroes in Action volunteers and administrative duties.

The Director of Compliance and Outreach will act as secretary of the Board of Directors.
• Give or cause to be given, all notices in accordance with the provisions of the organization Bylaws, or as required by law.
• Supervise the custody of all records and reports and will be responsible for the keeping and reporting of adequate records of all meetings of the Board of Directors.
• Make efforts to increase the visibility of the organization and increase the number of active participants within the organization through marketing and other tactics.
• Promote the activities of the organization, its programs and goals directly and through the engagement of volunteer PR and media relations staff.
• Perform such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Board of Directors.
• Must live in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
