This community offers many events for the downtown Edina area, such as Crazy Days, Pumpkin Fest, Tree Lighting Ceremony, and the Edina Art Fair. It promotes supporting small and local businesses to continue the growth and development of unique and local boutiques and stores.

Internship Description: This position requires an intern that is interested in art fair development, creativity, non-profit, and event management. This intern would assist with the 2015 Edina Art Fair in the following areas: answering potential artists questions, assisting with artist registration, helping in the jury process, mailings, marketing development, data entry, design elements, booth assignments, managing entertainment, calling and assisting vendors, volunteer coordinating, following-up with vendors, and other assigned tasks. We are looking for a volunteer to work about 10 hours per week from February - June (after the art fair). Willing to be a reference for both educational and professional needs.

Skills: Organization skills, detail orientated, great communication skills, creative, able to manage small projects on a timeline, attention to detail, all basic office equipment including internet explorer, Excel and Word, and phone skills a must. Open to developing a custom internship.
