Kids need more exercise. Kids need better and healthier habits!
You want to make a difference! Join our team!
OASIS CATCH Healthy Habits pairs teams of adults 50+ with chidlren in grades K-2 for 8 weeks for one hour.
Training and materials provided!!
Together, we'll get kids moving again and eating healthier!
Volunteers 50+ are encouraged to sign up and participate in this amazing program.
Upcoming programs for this summer will be at:
- PAL 47 at 1250 Ward Avenue, Bronx NY 10472 on Fridays from 2:00pm to 3:00 pm
- PAL 48 at 730 Bryant Ave, Bronx NY 10474 on Mondays from 1:00pm to 2:00 pm

Mission Statement
CATCH Healthy Habits pairs adults 50-plus with children to encourage healthier eating and physical activity.
OASIS collaborates with Bronx House to offer the CATCH Healthy Habits Program in the New York City area.
Bronx House is a community center that has been dedicated to helping Bronx residents for 100 years. Today, Bronx House is proud to serve the entire Pelham Parkway community with an array of programs and services for ages 1 to 100+. Bronx House encourages educational, cultural, social, recreational, healthy and physical activities for all ages and backgrounds. Thriving programs include an active fitness center, aquatics program, after school program, sports for youth, Universal Pre-K and senior center all under one roof! Description
Consider voluteering for CATCH Healthy Habits, a summer and after-school program that conncect adults age 50+ with kids in grades K-2 to learn about good eating habits and play active games.
1. Provide a health lesson.
Help kids learn about healthy choices through hands-on activites
2. Prepare Healty Snack.
Make and share a healthy, first snack with kids to promote good nutrition.
3. Play Games!
Lead kids through a variety of fun games to boost physical activity.
Training and supplies provided.
