Storytellers are needed to teach healthy eating and exercise habits to young children. If you enjoy interacting with children and want to help them create healthy habits at a young age--this volunteer opportunity may be for you! Volunteers are needed to read to children ages 2 - 5 in our health department clinics located in Wheaton, Lombard, Addison, Westmont and West Chicago. Books were selected in coordination with our FORWARD program which stands for Fighting Obesity and Reaching a Healthy Weight in DuPage County. Storytellers can choose a 2-hour shift either in the morning or afternoon for most of the sites, Monday through Friday.
