2015 Gala Volunteer Opportunities Proceeds from the annual Gala will benefit the Children’s Museum of Phoenix’s Every Child Program, which provides free or reduced Museum admission to families battling financial, emotional or circumstantial challenges. Funding provided in support of the Every Child Program will ensure that all of Arizona’s children can experience a safe, playful environment where they are empowered to make their own choices and encouraged to take risks while exploring free of criticism. This evening’s program will include the presentation of the Museum’s annual award to its 2015 recipients in both the individual and corporate award categories. This prestigious award honors an individual and corporation or foundation for their commitment to children and learning through play. Description
The Children's Museum of Phoenix is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that features hands-on, interactive exhibits designed for children ages birth to 10. The Museum focuses on learning through play, with emphasis on early childhood education and school-readiness. The Museum’s vision is to foster a joy of learning by providing engaging projects, exhibits, and programming for young children and their families while serving as a gateway to other cultural institutions and community programs.
We offer a variety of fun, flexible, engaging volunteer opportunities for individuals as young as 14 years old and groups that are great for team building.
