National Stroke Association - Hope After Stroke

Our Stroke Help Line provides stroke survivors and caregivers with the resources they need, whether that be a listening ear or informational packets. No one caller is the same and no one conversation is the same, though all conversations allow the opportunity to directly impact the life of a stroke survivor. Our volunteers direct callers to resources in their area, whether that be a Stroke Support Group, a listing of rehab facilities in their area, or something completely different and unique to that caller alone. Although prior knowledge of stroke or a background in social work is helpful, it is not required. We are looking for someone who is devoted to helping others in their time of need, willing to learn about the resources we have compiled, and above all patient and empathetic even in challenging situations.

We are looking for a volunteer who is available between 9 am and 3 pm Tuesdays - Thursdays.
