Do you love to help people in need? Are you comfortable using a computer, and enjoy working with the public? If so, you may be the perfect candidate to volunteer at Elkhart General Hospital, at the front Information Desk, or the Decio Information Desk. Plus you will be part of the Redcoat Ready Runner team, counting our steps as we walk across the country! Successful candidates will be very people friendly, learn quickly, and have the ability to work at a fast pace when needed. As a member of the Beacon Health System, the Volunteer Services Department at Elkhart General Hospital recruits, trains, and sustains compassionate volunteers who strive to welcome, comfort, and serve those who enter our facility.

Description

The Volunteer Services Department at Elkhart General Hospital works in partnership with the Elkhart Hospital Auxiliary, an organization that has provided both funding for special projects at the hospital, and service hour support to patients, visitors, and guests, and those in the surrounding community.
