Assist at a Rebuilding Day work site by ensuring that work is done in a safe manner. If possible, view the home or nonprofit site in advance with the Home Team leaders assigned to the project. Evaluate/eliminate potential hazards and take preventive measures to eliminate risks. On Rebuilding Day, post provided safety reminders at the site; make sure volunteers use personal protective equipments when required (goggles, masks, work gloves, etc.) and that they use and store tools in a safe and responsible manner. In the event of an accident, assist with first aid, call for medical assistance if necessary, and complete an incident report to be given to the Volunteer Coordinator.
