Nationally, 41% of low-income students will enter college, while only 8% will finish by their mid-20s.
Since inception, 99% of Capital Partners for Education (CPE) graduates have gone on to college, and 70% have graduated on time.
Founded in 1993, Capital Partners for Education (CPE) is a dynamic college preparatory program that helps motivated, low-income students in the Washington Metropolitan area to get to and through college by providing one-on-one mentoring, college and career preparation and support, individualized staff support, school partnerships and scholarships.
We are now hosting mentor trainings for our class of 11th Grade Navigators! This two-year mentoring relationship will include: monthly staff facilitated workshops, weekly email exchange, and weekly phone calls.
