Gentiva Hospice is seeking volunteers to visit and/or read to patients in the Morrow and Knox Counties. Our patients enjoy visiting with volunteers, listening to music or volunteers read to them--short stories, poetry, magazines, the Bible, inspirational readings, or even chapters of a novel. No matter how you spend your time, your visit brightens a patient's day. Volunteers visit at their convenience, and may choose the patients they visit. Volunteers also bake cakes for patients celebrating their birthdays.

Gentiva Hospice is a team of professionals who provide care to patients and families with end of life needs. As key members of the care team, volunteers expand and enhance hospice services for our patients. Volunteers bring special skills and talents to share with patients, and offer comfort through companionship visits, administrative assistance and special projects for patients and their families.
