Gardener Needed for Playland Fun Museum

Playland has a small garden area around our parking lot and building. We need volunteers for occasional garden care for the plants, trees, and flowers. This volunteer opportunity is only offered during the week and subject to availability.

This volunteer opportunity is available when we are closed to the public (weekdays 11:00am-4:00pm).

Fluent in English: Must be able to fluently speak English.

Gardening Equipment: Playland-Not-at-the-Beach will provide limited gardening equipment. We recommend volunteers bring gloves, sun protection, water, and their favorite gardening tool.

Photo Identification: All volunteers must provide valid legal photo identification (school IDs are valid for youth under 18-years of age).

Background: All volunteers must be approved to volunteer by a member of the Board of Directors and go through a background check.

Volunteer training is available Mondays, Tuesdays, or Fridays between 11:00am and 4:00pm (MUST pre-register for training). Volunteer registration form required for all volunteers (can be found at http://www.playland-not-at-the-beach.org/volunteers.html). Volunteers under 18-years of age need a parent or guardian with them at the beginning of training (volunteers under 14-yeard of age need a parent or guardian to volunteer with them).
